There's no better way to kick off the holiday season than with a painting of a beloved home.
The Washington County Community Foundation has commissioned a portrait of the Samuel T. Brownlee House in Eighty Four by Bentworth Middle School art teacher Jessica Burkley, the Times Bulletin reports.
The painting is the first in a four-part series and will be on display at the house, which is home to the W, the largest publicly supported grant-making foundation in the county.

Nonprofit impact investing firm, Acumen, has invested $1.2 million to KZ Noir, a Rwanda-based coffee processing company owned by Kaizen Venture Partners. The investment will equip KZ Noir the funds for working capital, debt refinancing, and capacity expansion.
